About Bistro 933

Bistro 933 specializes in regional American cuisine from inside the Hilton Garden Inn in South Bend, Indiana. We offer a full menu including appetizers, specialty drinks and desserts, as well as specials created daily by our team of Chefs. Our modern dining room is the perfect setting for a business dinner with colleagues, a small celebration with friends, a family meal or a romantic dinner for two. You can also visit our lounge which features features a full bar and seven 42 inch HDTVs for an after work drink or to catch the latest news and sports.

As part of the Gillespie Conference & Special Events Center, we also specialize in catering events of all types. Our talented team of chefs will work with you to create a marvelously appetizing menu that your guests will remember. We cater events at any one of our affiliate properties including the Inn at Saint Mary's, the Hilton Garden Inn and the Gillespie Center, as well as off-site events. Meet the Chefs

Josh Amador

Executive Chef

Executive Chef Joshua Amador has been cooking in the Michiana area for over 20 years. He is an ACF certified Culinarian and an ACF certified Pastry Chef. Joshua is self-taught, working and learning for 14 years at Reggio's in Mishawaka. He then joined the culinary program and earned ACF certifications while working at the South Bend Center for the Homeless and also with the Hilton Garden Inn / Gillespie Conference Center. He is an active ACF member and has participated in several charity events, including Junior League Chef Showcase, ACF Michiana Chili Cook-off, and Chef and Child Programs among others.

Jesse Peters

Sous Chef

Sous Chef Jesse Peters has been cooking in the Michiana area for over 18 years. Jesse is self-taught, but has had great teachers and comes from a culinary family. His father is a well-known Chef in the area who instilled a love of the culinary pursuit in Jesse at an early age. Jesse started out at the South Bend Country Club, then moved onto the University of Notre Dame. From there, he worked at The Palais Royale, as well as the Century Center. He also worked at Fiddler's Hearth for five years. Jesse has been at Bistro 933 and the Hilton Garden Inn South Bend since 2011. Jesse participates in many charity events including the Junior League Showcase, the ACF Michiana Chili Cook-Off (where he took second place in 2016), or the March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction. Jesse has also been the winner of the Holladay Properties Annual Chili Cook-Off for two years in a row (2015, 2016).
